Our story
Founded by husband-and-wife team Jiwan and Sushmita, KTM Care was born out of a shared lifelong calling.
What began as two careers in healthcare, one in Nepal and one here, grew into a promise we make to every person we support.
A new chapter in Australia
Seeking global insights into healthcare, we moved to Australia, where Sushmita completed her Australian Bachelor of Nursing. It anchored our international medical experience within the local system.
Finding home
Our true turning point came when we welcomed our children. Looking at them, Australia instantly became our forever home. As Sushmita worked as a local RN and Jiwan immersed himself in the Australian disability sector, our evening conversations always returned to one truth.

We realised that true healing, dignity and comfort happen when care is delivered in a person's own familiar surroundings. Combining our medical expertise, disability sector insight, and deep empathy as parents, we founded KTM Care.
